Amongst his compositions and arrangements are the violin concerto in G minor (2005), The Sunken Cathedral (2005), an arrangement of La cathédrale engloutie by C. Debussy, Meadow sweet (2006) for string orchestra, Finland (2005-2009), a songbook of voice, piano and strings and dear departed (2008) for strings.
As a youngster, Adam was immersed into traditional music. Having made such a positive impact on him, his love of traditional music has stayed with him and elements of traditional music can be detected in some of the string pieces. He has written many sets of jigs, reels and waltzes of his own, mainly for performance by the Sound of Islay ceilidh band.
